Cincinnati, OH – Education at Work (EAW) student employees have earned $3,292,289 million in tax-free tuition assistance to date. Since its founding in 2012, EAW has been dedicated to helping college students graduate with as little debt as possible. The organization provides part-time jobs in a contact center environment that pay hourly wages and provide tax-free tuition assistance based on grade point average. Student employees are eligible to receive up to $5,250 in tax-free tuition assistance per year, which goes directly toward their college tuition.
“I can’t think of a better way to welcome the New Year than with our latest partnerships with Arizona State University and Northern Kentucky University, and having awarded over $3 million in tuition assistance to our students,” said chairman and founder Dave Dougherty, “I’d like to sincerely thank our university partners and clients for their unfailing support of our mission.”
The organization currently operates campus contact centers at Arizona State University, Northern Kentucky University, and Mount St. Joseph University. Currently over 500 college students are employed at these centers and through Education at Work’s on-site staffing services. Between student wages and tuition assistance, the organization has made a total financial impact of over $16.4 million in the lives of its student employees.
EAW will continue moving towards its vision to reduce $1.3 billion of student debt annually through employing over 100,000 college students by the year 2025.
