July 2014’s Student Spotlight features Kyle Craven, a Northern Kentucky University student andEducation at Work intern working within Marketing and PR.  During his internship, Kyle will execute a social media marketing strategy aimed at students, build out public relation protocols, and engage prospective student-employees on local college campuses.

School: Northern Kentucky University

Major:  Organizational Leadership, Minor in Sports Business

GPA: 3.33

Career Aspirations: “A career in marketing, PR and possibly even sales. Also, to live in another city relatively far away from Cincinnati. I‘d love to get back to my hometown of Dallas, Texas. But somewhere out west would be awesome, too!” – Kyle

What do you enjoy most about Education at Work?

“This internship has offered me the best career development opportunity so far because I have been able to diversify my skills and gain experience within multiple fields. I have a personality that’s geared towards doing different things, which is why EAW’s fast-paced work environment has been so great! The EAW team has already trusted me with important marketing initiatives and let me contribute input and ideas.” – Kyle

What will you gain from your experience at EAW?

“Time management and multitasking skills.  My skills in these areas are established, but in need of refinement. I am well on the way to honing these skills by completing multiple projects on a daily basis.” – Kyle
